PURPOSE:To record similarly on one sheet of recording paper by reading from the both faces of an endless sheet at the outer part of a lower roller, and compress-recording by varying the feeding speed of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:At the outer part of the lower roller 3, characters graphics, etc., displayed on the endless sheet 1 are read by an optical reading mans 7 consisting of a light source 4, first and second mirrors 5 and 6, etc., the result are inputted to a recording printer 9 via a CCD image sensor 8, and thus the characters and graphics, etc., are recorded on the recording paper 10 set in the printer 9. After displaying the characters, graphics, etc., on the page-one-face A and the page-two-face B of the endless sheet 1, the endless sheet 1 is moved in the direction of arrow by the driving of a drive motor b through the simple operation of a change-over means 14. And at the same time, by varying the speed of the moving of the recording paper 10 in the recording printer 9, the characters, graphics, etc., displayed on the both faces A and B of the endless sheet 1 are compression-recorded on a piece of recording paper 10 as recordings A', B' in the order they are arranged on the surfaces A and B.
