PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, capable of exhibiting high sensitivity to active rays and having remarkably increased photopolymerization rate of a polymerizable compound having ethylenically unsaturated bond, by containing a specific photopolymerization initiator. CONSTITUTION:In a composition containing an addition polymerizable compound having one or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds, e.g. acrylic acid, itaconic acid, etc., and a photopolymerization initiator, one or more compounds expressed by formula I (R1-R4 are H, halogen, alkyl, OH, etc.; R5 and R6 are H, alkyl, aryl, acyl, etc.; X is O, S, NH or substituent group-containing N; G1 and G2 are H, CN, alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, etc.), e.g. compound expressed by formulas II, III and IV, etc., are used as the above-mentioned photopolymerization initiator. The resultant composition is used as photosensitive layers of photosensitive printing plates, photosensitive layers used for preparing color proofs, photoresists for preparing printed circuit boards, etc.
