PURPOSE:To easily install a paper magazine assembly body at a printing- disabled position by installing a paper magazine assembly body accommodation part inside a platen magazine supporting assembly body. CONSTITUTION:When a head lock lever 40 is turned leftward by the rightward movement of a releasing lever 38, the engagement of an engaging pin 21b is released. Then, the head pressing plates A7 and B8 on which the rightward pressing is released by the pivotal movement of all upper cover 26 to a releasing position shift to the left position, and the engagement of a suppressing pin 21a is released and a head operating plate 21 is turned leftward by the action of a spring for urging the head operating plate 2a in the left turning direction, and also the head supporting plates A32 and B33 are turned leftward. Positioning recessed parts 32a and 33a are released from the engagement with a platen bearing, and a platen magazine supporting assembly body 10 is pivotally moved to a printing-disabled position. Therefore, the taking-out and recharge of the consumed paper magazine assembly body 35 are permitted, and a releasing lever 38 is held at a pressed-down position.
