PURPOSE:To attain voice transmission at any time without awaiting the end of information transmission by switching the voice transmission as required even during the information transmission. CONSTITUTION:In giving an interruption request during information reception, the request is detected by an interruption detection means 100 and the operating mode at the reception side terminal equipment is switched from the information transmission to the voice transmission by the interruption reception control means 300. Then the interruption request is sent to the terminal equipment at the information transmission side by the interruption transmission control means 200 and the operating mode at the terminal equipment in the information transmission side is switched from the information transmission into the voice transmission. Thus, even during the reception of information, the voice transmission is attained instantly without awaiting the end of the information input at the terminal equipment of the information transmission side by inputting the interruption request.
