摘要

PURPOSE:To simplify production process of a medium and to reduce the production cost by providing an over coating layer consisting of org. polysiloxane on an optical recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The optical recording layer 2 and the over coating layer 3 consisting of the org. polysiloxane are successively provided on a disk substrate 1. The layer 2 consists of a dye or mixture composed of the dye and binder and is formed by coating the soln. thereof on the substrate 1. The layer 3 is formed by coating a soln. of silane of, for example, CH3Si(OR)3 or C6H5Si(OR)3 (where R is an alkyl or 1-6C) on the layer 2. The production process is simplified and the production cost is reduced while the characteristics of a system for forming bubbles 5 to the layer 2 are maintained according to this constitution.
