<p>PURPOSE:To access a designated address in a memory from a system space by supplying the address of a main system to the memory in a local system after converting it into the address of the local system. CONSTITUTION:For instance, in the case that it is permitted to access 60,000-7FFFF addresses in the memory 5 kept in one of memory chips in the local system 3, from a processor 1 at the main system 10 side through a bus 2, the processor 1 accesses the memory 5 by using the addresses A-A +1FFFF of the system space. At that time, an address signal, outputted from the processor 1 (A-A+1FFFF addresses) is converted into the address (60,000-7FFFF addresses) of a local space by an address conversion circuit 6. Thus, the access from the system space for the designated address in a large capacity memory kept in one of the memory chips comes to be possible.</p> |
