PURPOSE:To quickly complete call detecting operation and to simplify a circuit by comparing one bit of a call code with a corresponding bit in a selfstation code every reception of one bit and immediately stopping the reception of residual bits in a station generating a discrepancy. CONSTITUTION:At the time of receiving a call code in a call detecting system for a bus type network 1, an its own station code is inputted from an internal data bus 4 to a shift register 3 by a data processing circuit 11. A call code signal transmitted from a call station through the network 1 is received by a receiver 2 and inputted to the shift register 3 while shifting the contents of the register 3 every bit. At that time, the its own station code is outputted every bit from a serial output terminals in the shift register 3. When a discrepancy is generated as the result of comparison, the generation is immediately informed to the data processing circuit 11 through a connection line 10 and that the communication is not transmitted to the selfstation is decided.
