PURPOSE:To improve silver removal performance by processing with a specified processing solution a photosensitive material containing a compound to be allowed to release a bleach promotor by the reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:The color photographic sensitive material containing the com pound to be allowed to release the bleach promotor by the reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent is color developed and immediately processed with a processing solution having bleach fixing ability, or immediately processed with a processing solution containing a salt concentration of >=2X10<-3>mol/l and subsequently processed with the bleach fixing solution. As the compound to be allowed to release the bleach promotor, a compound capable of coupling reaction, such as a compound represented by formula I is preferable, thus permitting silver removal of the obtained color photosensitive material to be executed at high speed. In formula I, TIME is a timing group; (n) is 0 or 1; R1 is a 1-8 C divalent aliphatic group or 6-10 C aromatic group; and R2 is a water-soluble substituent. |
