In a dental coupling set with a reinforcement to be fastened in the mouth of a patient, a metal holding member (15), if appropriate imaged by a plastic model which can be burned without residues, is fastened or can be fastened on the reinforcement. The metal holding member (15) has a recess (21) with a completely closed inner surface (18) in which a retention member (10a) is adhesively held, in particular by means of a hardening adhesive (22). The recess (21) is enlarged, relative to the external volume of the retention member (10a), by a movement play for the retention member (10a). A complementary coupling member (26) provided in a prosthesis frame (29) enters at least indirectly into a releasable coupling connection with the retention member. Recess (21) and retention member (10a) in each case represent the inner surface (18) and outer surface (26), respectively, of a straight circular cylinder over the entire axial extension. On one of its inner front faces the recess (21) is sealed by an inner bottom surface (19) and the retention member (10a) is sealed by an outer bottom surface (23) facing the inner bottom surface (19). The coupling set can be produced with less expenditure in every case and when required can be inserted more easily in the mouth of a patient during work thereon. <IMAGE>
