A description is given of a hot-air generator which is of modular construction and can be operated using all types of burners. The individual modules are of self-contained design and can be coupled to one another. Both combustion chamber and heat exchanger are arranged horizontally and can be mounted on a separate blower unit, which is likewise self-contained.
