Load selector equipped with preselector for tap-changing transformers

Multiphase load selector for tap-changing transformers with an oil-tight, cylindrical housing having a step switch head and an oil tank bottom, which housing with an upper collar of the step switch head can be placed on a flange of the housing of the tap-changing transformer. A reverser extending over the entire height of the load selector is located to the side of the load selector. This reverser is designed as a pipe segment sitting in each case on a bracket of the step switch head and of the oil tank bottom. The switching shaft, mounted in the brackets, of the reverser is located in the centre of the pipe segment. For each phase the contacts of the reverser lie approximately in the same plane as the contacts of the load selector. A plurality of rod-shaped polarity resistors are arranged in a zig zag line next to the contacts of the reverser on both sides of the wall. These resistors are connected at one end to the potential of the centre contact.
