PURPOSE:To select magnification speedily by providing a magnification varying switch which indicates copy magnification according to fixed magnification selected by a magnification selection control means. CONSTITUTION:When magnification is set, the size of set transfer paper is detected and a group or data stored in the RAM of a CPU previously is accessed according to the detected transfer paper size data. The magnification varying key 42 is pressed repeatedly until a desired data value is et. When the set transfer paper is of, for example, A3 size, the magnification varying key 42 is operated once to select DATA1, to select DATA2 by two operations, to select DATA3 by three operations, and to select DATA4 by four operations. Thus, when the desired fixed magnification value is set, a print button 31 is turned on thereafter to perform a copying process according to the set magnification. Consequently, the magnification selecting operation is performed speedily. |
