PURPOSE:To secure the heat sealing of a seal member to a main body by forming a projection at the periphery of a discharge port for a powdery developer put in a container main body and sealing the sealing member to the projection part. CONSTITUTION:A nearly rectangular opening 6 for developer discharging is formed in the top surface of a cartridge main body 2, and a rib 4 is provided to the periphery of the opening 6 integrally with the cartridge main body 2. The cartridge main body 2 and rib 4 united with it are made of materials such as polypropylene or high-impact polystyrene. The sealing member 8 is placed on this rib 4 and a heat sealing bar 10 is lowered from above it to heat and press the seal member 8, which is heat-sealed to the seal member 8. Consequently, the sealing member is heat-sealed to the cartridge main body at a constant position, i.e. projection position at any times. |
