PURPOSE:To obtain the correct execution time of a source program to be measured by measuring the execution time of an analysis information measuring statement which is added to measure the execution time of the program and subtracting this measured execution time from the execution time of a measuring source program. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit measures the time required for one execution of a statement appearing as the analysis information measuring statement, namely, a unit execution time to generate a unit execution time table 35 consisting of a classification 351 of the analysis information measuring statement and a corresponding unit execution time 352 and stores this table in a unit execution time table area 15. The product between the unit execution time 352 searched from the unit execution time table 15 and an analysis information measuring statement execution frequency 344 is calculated, and this calculated value is subtracted from a measuring program unit execution time 342, and the result is stored in an execution information area 14 as the measuring program unit execution time. Thus, the actual execution time of the source program is obtained.
