PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a titled welding machine simple, small in size and inexpensive and to decrease the ripple component of base current by operating respectively adequately the base and pulse current controlling part of plural switching circuits provided in parallel between a power source and a welding load. CONSTITUTION:Transistors Qx, Qy are alternately turned on by a control means for base current in a control part 20 and the increased current from the emitters thereof flows via a reactor 18 to the welding load formed of a welding wire 8 and a base material 10, in the stage of supplying base current. When the Tr Qx or Qy is turned off, the current generated by the energy accumulated in the reactor 18 flows cyclically through the current load and a diode 19 while said current is decreased. The TRs Qx and Qy are simultaneously turned on and when the TRs are off, the current by the reactor 18 flows cyclically in the stage of supplying pulse current. The switching frequency for the base current is the composite frequency of both switching circuits 16, 17 and therefore the reduction in a ripple component is made possible in the stage of supplying the base current. |
