PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the titled body by applying an organopolysilane on a phenolic resin layer dispersed carbon therein, followed by providing with a layer dispersed a pigment on the layer which is formed by irradiating a light on the obtd. organopolysilane layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is formed by applying the organopolysilane on the phenolic resin layer dispersed the carbon therein, followed by providing withe the layer dispersed the pigment on the layer which is formed by irradiating the light to the obtd. organopolysilane layer. The phenolic resin dispersed the carbon is not specified, and is applicable to said resin which is produced by various kinds of well-known methods. However, said phenolic resin has preferably electrical resistance of <=10<8>OMEGA, further preferably <=10<5>OMEGA, and is produced by mixing a prepolymer such as a resol or a novolak, with >=5wt.%, preferably >=10wt.% the carbon, and if necessary, by mixing with a reinforcing material or a filler, followed by forming it and subsequently curing it with heat. The thickness of the layer applied is 0.01-3mum. Thus, the obtd. photosensitive body has the improved performance, and is widely usable in the field applying electrophotography. |
