PURPOSE:To obtain an immunological regulator, containing a specific phenylpyrazoleacetic acid derivative as an active ingredient and useful for treating autoimmune diseases or suppressing rejection caused by transplantation of internal organs. CONSTITUTION:An immunological regulator obtained by containing a compound expressed by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are phenyl or p-halogenated phenyl; R<3> is H or methyl) known to have anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic action or a salt thereof, e.g. 3-(p-chlorophenyl)-1-phenylpyrazole-4-acetic acid, as an active ingredient. The above-mentioned pharmaceutical is useful for treating well-known inflammations as well as autoimmune diseases, e.g. nephritis, hepatopathy, collagen disease, tumor, etc., and is normally administered in a dose within the range of 10-1,500mg/day and preferably about 150mg/day in oral administration to an adult.
