<p>A method and equipment to remove sediment and settlements from storage tank bottoms (1) is composed of tank mixers (2), hydroclones (5) and a centrifuge (15) to remove the sediment from the tanks (1), separate the oil and further dehydrate the solids. The method is effective in reducing costs for waste disposal and tank cleaning and recovers 95% of the oil contained in the waste. The method produces semi-dry solids.</p> |
