When a diaphragm is returned to an aperture side, a projecting part 17d rotates in the direction as indicated with an arrow and abuts on the spring 50, and when the projecting part 17d is further rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow, the contact of the spring 50 and the switch pin 52 is disconnected and an aperture state detecting switch becomes an OFF state, and it is detected that the diaphragm is a full-aperture. Accordingly, only at the time of a full-aperture, a step rotor (against driving of a rotor magnet 3) receives a load of the spring 50. Also, a diaphragm full- aperture detecting phase in a switch constitution is aligned with an electric conduction time phase of the rotor magnet 3 in the step motor. Accordingly, an opening state of an exposure adjusting device such as a diaphragm device, etc. can be detected very exactly.
