PURPOSE:To compact a rotating and parallel moving mechanism for a mirror by separating two motion operations such as rotating operation and reciprocating operation given to members to be moved performing them by mechanism constitution which is simple on the whole as specified. CONSTITUTION:Selective tensile forces of 1st and 2nd tension wires W1 and W2 are used as driving forces to rotate the members 3 and 4 to be moved forward and backward by a specific angle around about a rotating shaft 34 and also used as moving a movable reciprocating member 32 forth the back in a specific-length section along a guide member 31, and they are separated into two motion operation, also carried out by the simple mechanism constitution on the whole. The rotation by this mechanism is used for scanning and the parallel movement is used to move back the mirror. Consequently, the device is simplified.
