PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a copying machine body by providing an output/input signal information control unit for relaying output and input signals of various devices such as an automatic original size detecting device, a copy image editing device, an IC card storage device, etc., to a main control unit, on an original pressure plate. CONSTITUTION:On the upper face of an original pressure plate body, a copy image editing device 15 is provided, connected to an output/input signal information control unit 21 provided on the base part of the original pressure plate, and an output and an input are controlled. On the base part of the original pressure plate 10, an IC card connecting member 6 for inserting an IC card 5 is provided so that a copying machine can be controlled even by the IC card 5. The IC card 5 inserted into this IC card connecting member 6 is constituted so as to be installed to a holding frame provided on the base part of the original pressure plate and so as to be held thereby. In such a state, a signal inputted to an output/input signal information control unit 2 from these various devices is inputted to a main control unit of a copying machine body, and a processing of its signal is executed. Accordingly, its attachment can be connected easily without increasing a burden of the main control unit.
