<p>PURPOSE:To enable the detection of AC or negative current flowing through a coil with a handy construction, by providing a bias circuit to overlap a bias voltage of the detection voltage from a magnetosensitive element. CONSTITUTION:As a current to be detected flows through a coil 7, the detection voltage corresponding thereto is outputted from a magnetosensitive element 3. After added to or subtracted from a bias voltage outputted from a bias circuit, the detection voltage is inputted into an amplification circuit to amplify and then, outputted outside from terminals 6b and 6c as output signal. Here, when the current being detected is AC, the detected is AC, the detection voltage of the element 3 is also an AC voltage. Yet as overlapped with the bias voltage and amplified, the detection voltage is outputted at the terminal 6b as ripple current. Thus, an output signal of the detector can be always positive thereby enabling detection of not only positive current and AC current but also negative current flowing through the coil 7.</p> |
