PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition whose hue just after the production is almost colorless to white and does not change with the lapse of time, by adding a specified color stabilizer to an ethylene/propylene/dicyclopentadiene copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A color stabilizer comprising 0.001-10pts.wt. tetrakis [ methyl ene-3-( 3', 5'-di-tert-butyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl )propionate ]methane, 0.001- 10pts.wt. mixed nonylphenyl phosphite and 0.001-10pts.wt. calcium stearate is added to 100pts.wt. ethylene/propylene/dicyclopentadiene copolymer of an ethylene content of 15-85mol%, a propylene content of 85-15mol%, a dicyclopentadiene content of 0-10mol%, a Mooney viscosity ML1+4 (100 deg.C) of 1-250, and an iodine value of 20-60, and the mixture is mixed at 40-300 deg.C in an inert gas atmosphere. |
