PURPOSE:To simply generate and feed gaseous chlorine used for sterilization, deodorization and bleaching, by electrolizing brine in an electrolytic cell divided into three parts of an anode cell, a cathode cell and an electrolyte storage cell, sucking the gaseous chlorine generated in the anode cell with gas pump and sending it to the demand side. CONSTITUTION:The saturated brine 11 is put into the main body of the electrolytic cell 1 divided into three parts and the direct current is impressed between the anode 13 in the anode cell 6 and the cathode 12 in the cathode cell 7 from the direct current power supply 3. Then the gaseous hydrogen from the surface of the cathode 12 is discharged from a small hole 14 of the cell top to the outer atmosphere. Then the gaseous chlorine generating from the surface of the anode 13 is sucked into the inlet 18 of the gas-pump 4 through a pipe 17, pressurized and supplied to a swimming pool or a bath water for sterilization and further is utilized for bleaching and deodorization in laundering without necessity of a gas bomb for chlorine or a chlorine tablet. |
