PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber composition improved in retentivity of O3 resistance and discoloration resistance, by mixing a natural rubber and/or a synthetic rubber with a specified p-phenylenediamine antioxidant and a petroleum wax. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. natural rubber and/or synthetic rubber (e.g., polyisoprene rubber) are mixed with 0.15-5pts.wt. p-phenylenediamine antioxidant of the formula (wherein R and R' are each H or an alkyl, and the sum of the carbon numbers of R and R' is 8-19), 0.5-5pts.wt. petroleum wax of the total carbon number of 20-60 and a 25-60C nonnormal component content of 30-80wt% and, optionally, a filler, a softener, a vulcanizing agent, a cure accelerator, etc.
