PURPOSE:To prevent the solidification of ammonium bicarbonate without using an additive, by agitating and aging particles or powder of ammonium bicarbonate contg. water of a prescribed range and stabilizing the surface state of crystal. CONSTITUTION:Particles or powder of ammonium bicarbonate is maintained at 0.8-5wt% water content. Particles or powder of ammonium bicarbonate having this water content is agitated and aged. The surfaces of crystal are faced with each other and stabilized. Thereby the particles of ammonium bicarbonate are prevented from being stuck with each other and the solidification thereof is prevented.
