PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having flame retardance imparted thereto while retaining moldability, chemical resistance, flexibility, etc. inherent to polyamide elastomer, by blending a polyamide elastomer with a polybromophenyl ether and an Sb compd. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. polyamide elastomer (e.g., a polyether amide) with 1-30pts.wt. polybromophenyl ether of the formula (wherein p, q and r are each 1-4; X is H or a substituent; n is 0-15) (e.g., polydibromophenylene oxide) and 1-15pts.wt. Sb compd. (e.g., Sb2O3). By blending the polybromophenyl ether and the Sb compd., molded products having high flame retardance can be obtd. by injection molding, extrusion, etc. while retaining the moldability, chemical resistance, flexibility, mechanical properties, etc. inherent to the polyamide elastomer. |
