PURPOSE:To improve a decrease in sensitivity almost at 0kgm torque by adhering two kinds of amorphous magnetic alloy which have magnetic striction spirally at 45 or -45 deg. to the lengthwise direction of a rotating shaft, and allowing the magnetic alloy materials to operate while strained by plane compression to a 50X10<-6>-700X10<-6> strain rate. CONSTITUTION:The two kinds of Fe-Si-B amorphous magnetic alloy materials 2a and 2b which have magnetic striction spirally at 45 and -45 deg. to the lengthwise direction of the rotary shaft are adhered onto the rotary shaft, and coils 3a and 3b are arranged concentrically and independently outside them at a constant distance. Here, the magnetic alloy 2a in the 45 deg. spiral shape is strained by plane compression to a 50X10<-6>-700X10<-6> strain rate to increase in magnetic permeability to plus torque and increases in magnetic permeability to minus torque. Further, the magnetic alloy 2b in the -45 deg. spiral shape have reverse characteristics. Consequently, an operation output is detected 4 to improve the decrease in sensitivity, specially, almost at 0kgm torque.
