发明名称 MEASURING INSTRUMENT FOR IN-CANISTER CHARGING LEVEL OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform high-accuracy measurement by a small-capacity ray source irrelevantly to the radioactive concentration of fused glass by providing a radiation generator which irradiates a canister with radiation which is modulated so that its intensity varies periodically. CONSTITUTION:The radiation generator A irradiates the canister 1 externally with the radiation 13 modulated so that its intensity varies periodically. A radiation detector 16 inputs and detects radiation emitted out of the canister 1 from radiation 13 transmitted through the container 1 and a radioactive material 4 present in the canister 1. Then, a 1st component of the detection output of this detector 6 which is generated by further imposing amplitude modulation upon the radiation 13 by the level variation of the material 14 in the container when the radiation 13 is transmitted through the canister 1 and a 2nd signal component generated by imposing amplitude modulation on the material radiation by the level variation of the material 14 in the canister 1 are inputted to a signal component separating means. Then they are separated in terms of frequency and the charging level of the material 14 in the canister 1 is decided from a 1st signal component which is separated and outputted.
