<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize treatability of a post stage, by aerating waste water in a settling and separating section formed by partitioning part of an aeration tank, thereby preventing outflow of granular carriers from the settling and separating section and aerobically maintaining the treated water and the microorganisms partly entrained in the treated water. CONSTITUTION:Part of the aeration tank 4 is partitioned to form the settling and separating section 5 at the time of charging the granular carriers into the aeration tank 4 and treating the waste water by the microorganism membranes generated on the surface of the carriers. The outflow of the granular carriers from the section 5 is prevented by aerating the waste water in said section 5. The treated water and the microorganisms partly entrained in the treated water are aerobically maintained. The treatment of the post stage is thereby improved.</p> |
