A shuttle is pulled through the sheds of a circular loom by engagement of a wheel 26- mounted on the shuttle and slotted to avoid fouling the warps, with a rotating part of the loom. A bracket 30 mounted on the rotating part carries on axis 32 a wheel frictionally. engaging a fixed track 5. Wheels 42-3 engaging the slotted wheel 26 are driven via gears 34 and 45. The shuttle carries a platform 10 having yarn engaging rollers 11, as. described in Specification 1,160,581.
