Installation for the treatment, painting etc. of the interior surfaces of casting moulds comprising a tool attached to a vertically displaceable shaft. A tumbling or staggering motion is attached to this tool by a follower attached to a revolveable shaft which is mounted concentrically round the fixed shaft, pref. the tool consists of an arm to one end of which is attached the tool and the other end is hinged to a peg which is mounted in a vertical bush on the vertical rod.
