<p>1307281 Rubber compositions containing a phosphite ester IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 Jan 1971 [13 Feb 1970] 7103/70 Heading C3Q [Also in Division D1] Rubber containing a phosphite ester of formula wherein R is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, or aryl or a substituted derivative thereof, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> are each a hydrogen atom or a group of the kind represented by R, or R and R<SP>1</SP> together with the two attached oxygen atoms and the phosphorus atom form a ring, or R, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> together with the three attached oxygen atoms and the phosphorus atom form two fused rings, with the proviso that not more than one of the groups R, R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>11</SP> is an unsubstituted phenyl group, is contacted with polyester material, e.g. by embedding said material in the rubber or using the rubber to bond rubber not containing such an ester to polyester material.</p> |
