PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and to form a lining coated film having uniform thickness, by accumulating a lining material between two pigs made of an elastic material and inserted into a pipeline to be treated, and imparting a pressure difference between the front and rear of both pigs to reciprocate the pigs in the pipeline to be treated. CONSTITUTION:The lining material 17 is accumulated between the two pigs 6a and 6b made of an elastic material and inserted into the pipeline 1 to be treated, and a pressure difference is imparted between the front and rear of both pigs to reciprocate the pigs in the pipeline 1. As a result, the time and effort spent for the charge and discharge of the pigs and the lining material are remarkably reduced as compared with the conventional liq. phase-type lining method wherein the lining material is moved only in one direction, and the working efficiency is remarkably improved. Since the pigs and lining material are reciprocated, the lining coated film on the inner wall surface of bending part of the pipeline is not locally and extremely thinned, and the relatively thick and even lining coated film also having a smooth outer surface can be formed over the whole length of the pipeline.
