<p>A cup shaped by vacuum forming from a thin sheet of thermoplastic material, has a conical lateral wall diverging towards the top and joined by a conical flare diverging to the top to a rounded circular rim, together with a bottom slightly elevated above the base on which it rests. The top part of the lateral wall below the flare has vertical fluting in the form of grooves of flat bottomed V-section whose height decreases to zero, the bottom of the grooves being a prolongation of the conical flare without modifying its depth at the top. The base has hollow ribs in saw tooth form, the distance between them being equal to the height of the base.</p> |
