PURPOSE:To prevent water pollution while maintaining the high finishing capability and finishing efficiency by transferring sand slurry containing specific wt.% of sand having a specific average grain size with high-pressure water and specifying its injection speed. CONSTITUTION:A high-pressure water pump 6 is activated to inject the high- pressure water having the water pressure of 300-1,500 kg f/cm via a pressure- proof hose through a high-pressure nozzle 2 in a slurry nozzle 1. At the same time, water and sand having an average grain size of 0.2-1.5 mm are put into a slurry tank 9 to form slurry having the sand slurry density, i.e., sand content, of 10-25 wt.% with the circulating action by a stirrer 10 and a slurry pump 8, and sand slurry of about 20 l/min is fed to a hollow section 1a through a guide port 1b via an abrasion-proof hose 7. Then, sand slurry is transferred by high-pressure water via the Venturi effect and injected through an injection nozzle 4 as transfer slurry of about 120 m/s to blast the surface to be processed X. Concurrently, marginal water in a cylinder 11 is sucked and recovered by a suction pump 14.
