<p>PURPOSE:To improve reliability by connecting a diode and a protective diode to a maximum potential layer in a secondary winding. CONSTITUTION:A flyback transformer has a primary winding 1, to which flyback pulses are input, and secondary windings 2-5 divided into a plurality of layers, and high-voltage pulses generated in the secondary windings 2-5 are rectified and changed into DC voltage by a first diode 6 and high-voltage diodes 7-10. An anode for the first diode 6 is connected at the high-voltage side end of the maximum potential layer 2 of the secondary windings, and a cathode is connected at a high-voltage output terminal 12. A cathode for a protective diode 11 is connected to the cathode for the first diode 6, and an anode is connected at the low-voltage side end of said maximum potential layer 2. Accordingly, the protective diode 11 is conducted when the high-voltage output terminal 12 is grounded or short-circuited instantaneously to a low potential section, thus preventing the breakdown of the high-voltage diodes 7-10.</p> |
