PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately correct hand-written picture information by combining a picture data converted from hand-written picture information and a demodulated picture data on a prescribed screen. CONSTITUTION:The hand-written picture information is converted into a picture data of an electric signal by a picture data output means and then a full duplex modulator-demodulator 2 modulates an output of the picture data output means and sends it to a line 10 and the drawn picture information is sent to an opposite telewriting device. Further, the picture data modulated and inputted via the line 10 from the opposed telewriting device through the modulator- demodulator 2 is demodulated as soon as the drawn picture information is sent. Moreover, the picture data being an output of a picture data output means and a demodulated picture data being an output of the MODEM 2 are synthesized on a prescribed screen by the pattern synthesizer 32, and the synthesized picture data is displayed on a CRT display 34. Thus, the hand-written picture information is corrected quickly and accurately.
