PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for a tacky adhesive, consisting of a specific terminal-modified block copolymer having amino group- or imide group- containing terminal treating agent residues linked to polymer terminals and a tackifier resin and having excellent tackiness, adhesive property as well as creep characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. terminal- modified block copolymer, obtained by reacting (iii) a terminal treating agent of an imino compound, cyanamide compound, aziridinyl compound, amide compound and/or other tertiary amino group-containing compounds with active terminals of a block copolymer, consisting of a conjugated diene and a vinyl block aromatic hydrocarbon, having 5,000-1,000,000 number-average molecular weight and 5-95wt% content of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and prepared by using (i) an (organic) alkali metal as a polymerization initiator and (B) 40-200pts.wt. tackifier resin.
