摘要 PURPOSE:To realize the high efficiency of a coil-winding process and to keep up with the stabilization against an electromagneticmechanical force at the time of short-circuit by a method wherein excess and deficiency of the number of windings in each inner layer are adjusted in outermost layers where a belt- like edge insulator used at the layers gradually widens and the longitudinal length is longer than one turn of a coil. CONSTITUTION:An edge insulator 22 where a belt-shaped width gradually widens and the longitudinal length is longer than the circumferential length of an outermost layer of a coil is cut to be one circumferential length l at an appropriate position so that the increase or decrease of an edge width M after adjustment of the number of windings can be adjusted. By this method, because it is enough to wind the coil around a conductor 11 as many turns as possible inside a length S1 in the axial direction of the coil, the irregularity of the length in the axial direction of the coil is not caused in each layer. Accordingly, it is possible to realize a high-speed coil-winding process, and to make the length in the axial direction of the coil in each layer accurately uniform; as a result, it is possible to form a multiple cylindrical coil which is stable and highly safe against an electromagnetic-mechanical force at the time of short circuit.
