The stirring tool (12,13) has a central vertical shaft (11), and is connectable releasably to a drive motor (4) above the surface of the cooking vessel. It is supported by a horizontal brace (16) which is lockably fitted in two diametrically position heel formations (19,21) inside the cooking vessel. On the brace is fitted a bearing socket (17) in which the tool central shaft (11) is displaceably fitted, and locable in different height positions by a distance ring (18). Alternatively, a planet gear can be provided to which the drive motor and the stirrer vertical shafts can be connected, in which case the shafts are extendable so that the stirrer can adopt different height positions. The cover of the cooking vessel has a central hole for the drive motor (4) shaft, permitting this shaft (9) to be coupled with the stirrer shaft (11) independently as the whether the vessel cover is raised or lowered. |
