<p>PURPOSE:To permit proper allocation to be obtained all the time without overflowing of unit letter rows from mesh by a method in which magnification factor values corresponding to the series of usable letters by a letter output device are set up in advance, and when set values are selected to find a difference between horizontal and vertical magnification factors, the series and intervals of letters are determined by adaptation to low magnification factor variables at all times. CONSTITUTION:Magnification factor variables M1, M2,...,Mn proportional to usable n-series by each letter output device for printing are defined and stored in a computer. A rule information and a letter row information which make up a table are given to the computer to form a reference table. From n- magnification factor variables, vertical magnification factor My and horizontal magnification factor Mx are selected, rules of vertically and horizontally multiplied magnification factors are displayed, and unit letter rows are displayed between the rules. When the variable Mx equals to the variable My by comparison, the value is regarded as magnification factor variable Mz and also when they are different from each other, smaller value is taken as Mz, and assignment by magnification factor multiplied by Mz is displayed on a displayer.</p> |
