PURPOSE:To form a throttle valve guiding tube conformed to the configuration of a slide throttle valve for producing simply and economically a slide throttle valve type carbureter by forcing a guide block into a throttle valve guiding tube casted together with a main body of a carbureter. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve guiding tube 3 is provided spanning an intake path 2 extending through a main body 1 of a carbureter. The guide tube 3 is casted integrally with the main body perpendicularly to an intake path 2 so that the engine side guide tube surface 3A is inclined to the intake path 2 and the air cleaner side guide tube surface 3B coincides with the opposed air cleaner side surface 7B of slide throttle valve 7. On the other hand, a guide block 12 having a slant surface 12A coinciding with said surface 3A and a perpendicular slide surface 12B coinciding with the opposite engine side surface 7A and formed perpendicularly to the intake path 2 is forced into the guide tube 3. And the throttle valve guide tube is formed of said surfaces 3B, 12B.
