PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which is not browned by molding with heating and can be freely tinted, by blending a polyarylene sulfide resin with a specified cyclic phosphorus compd. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide resin (A) obtd. by polymerizing an arom. halogen compd. with an alkali metal compd. in a polar solvent is blended with 0.01-5pts.wt. cyclic phosphorus compd. (B) of the formula [Wherein R<1> and R<2> are each a 4-22C (un)saturated hydrocarbon group] (e.g., distearyl pentaerythritol diphosphite) to a obtain the title compsn. If desired, other polymers, pigments, fillers, additives, etc., are added to said compsn. and the mixture is molded by heating at 290-380 deg.C.
