摘要 |
PURPOSE:To induce an amorphous-crystalline phase transition by projection of recording light to a recording layer and to permit stable and repeated recording and erasing of information at a high speed by incorporating Te and Sn in a substrate of an information recording medium and specifying the atomic ratio of Sn/(Te+Sn) to a prescribed value or above. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer contg. Te and Sn and having >=0.6 Sn/(Te+ Sn) atomic ratio is formed on the substrate of the information recording medium. Recording light is projected to such recording layer to induce the amorphous-crystalline phase transition. >=1 kinds of Ge, In and Ti are incorporated into said recording layer at <=10at.% of the total sum of Te and Sn in said layer. C/N of a reproducted signal is improved by the addition of such components, by which the control range of the crystal transition temp. TX is widened and the stability is improved. |
