The railway wagon body (1) is supported, relative to one bogie (3a) by two lateral air springs (2a, b), each with its own level- regulating valve (4a, b). A second bogie (3b), similarly sprung, has one of its air springs (2c) controllable by a third level-regulating valve (12), in the centre. Its other spring (2d) is linked with that of the first bogie, on the same side, via a compensating lead (13). The first bogie has a sway suppory (7), between the wagon body and a bogie frame (9). There is emergency support at three points (14a, b) , combined as a unit with the air springs. The other bogie has a central emergency spring (14c), surrounding a pivot pin.
