PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a sheet small in anisotropy of mechanical properties even in a conventional general melt extrusion, by mixing a polyethylene terephthalate resin with an inorganic compound, a specified copolymer containing glycidyl (meth)acrylate and a fibrous reinforcement. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains 100pts.wt. polyethylene terephthalate or polyester (A) having at least 80mol% ethylene terephthalate repeating units, 5-30pts.wt. inorganic compound (B) of an average particle diameter <=50mum, 1-15pts.wt. copolymer (C) comprising 80-99wt% alpha-olefin, 1-20wt% glycidyl (meth)acrylate and 0-19wt% vinyl acetate and 5-50pts.wt. fibrous reinforcement (D). At least one inorganic compound selected from among talc, mica, and wollastonite is desirably used as component (B). Examples of said alpha-olefins of component (C) include ethylene, propylene and butene-1.
