PURPOSE:To obtain the titled vaccine containing protein having antigenicity obtained by extracting pollen of Japanese cedar with a solvent as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:Pollen of Japanese cedar is extracted with a solution of sodium hydrogencarbonate, 50% solution of glycerin salt, etc., and purified to give protein having antigenicity. The protein is used as an active ingredient to give oral vaccine for pollinosis of Japanese cedar. The vaccine is for oral administration and applied as a vaccine for internal use. Solution, enteric capsule agent, tablet, etc., may be cited as the dosage form. When the vaccine is used as solution, the protein is dissolved or dispersed into a phosphoric acid at pH 7.4 to give preferably 0.1-5wt%, more preferably 0.1-1wt% solution or dispersion, which is used. A dose is 1mg-5g/person/day and administered every other day several times so that the vaccine can effectively suppress pollinosis, prevent or remedy and prevent invasion of the antigen into the body.
