PURPOSE:To reduce the size and cost of a liquid developer supplying device by providing a detachable connection pipe which switches a conduit which supplies a liquid developer to a development part between a development part side and a developing tank side to part of the conduit, and driving plural pumps by a single motor in one developing tank. CONSTITUTION:The development part 1 and a cleaning part 3 which cleans the photosensitive drum 1 of a copying machine are provided at the periphery of the drum 1. Further, one pump 8 is arranged in the black-and-white copy developing tank 4 and the liquid developer which is sent out of the pump 8 is supplied to the development part 2 and cleaning part 3 through paths (a) and (b). Part of the conduit 9 connected to the development part 2 is branched and the connecting pipe 11 is interposed in the branching part to supply the liquid developer from the conduit 9 to the development part 2, and also disconnected to return the liquid developer from one end surface 9a of the branching part to the side of the tank 4. Further, the connecting pipe 1 is disconnected from the conduit 9 by powering on a solenoid 12 to supply the liquid developer from a color developing tank 5 to the development part 2 through a path (c).
