<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of data due to the misoperation of a power supply switch by connecting a main switch which directly turns on and off the power supply of a device and a sub-switch which is set in parallel to the main switch and turned on just for a fixed time every time a program instruction is produced and controlling both switches by a program. CONSTITUTION:When a program 8 detects that a main switch 1 is turned off, the presence or absence is decided for a process under execution (a writing process to a floppy disk). Then, an instruction which keeps a mono-multi circuit 11 turned on until said process under execution is through. While a sub-switch 2 is kept turned on to supply power. The delivery of said instruction that turns on the circuit 11 is stopped when all processes are through. Thus the sub-switch 2 is turned off and the power supply is cut off. As a result, the breakdown of data is avoided within a medium even though a power supply switch is inadvertently turned off while the writing process is carried out to a floppy disk 6.</p> |
